Pumping up the tyres with nitrogen
The nitrogen gas is used to pump up the tyres, to reduce the risk of an explosion, if a tyre is overheated. Nitrogen increases the safety of the tyres and keeps a constant pressure for a long time.
Humidity affects the aging of the components, the internal structure of the metallic elements and lead to the appearance of rust on the inside of the rim. Nitrogen prevents oxidation, because oxygen is missing. This gas is less affected by temperature fluctuations, as opposed to the air-filled tyres which significantly change their pressure between cold and warm periods. This stability has positive effects on the contact between road and tyres and on the safety of the vehicle. Another advantage is that nitrogen has a much larger molecule, therefore the pressure loss in the tyres that are filled with nitrogen is reduced than in those with air and in this way, there is a reduced wear, an increasing lifetime of a tyre, an obvious lower fuel consumption, which generates lower maintenance costs for cars. Nitrogen is very useful for vehicles parked for a long time. Long parking periods during the year can lead to damage of the tyre, as it accelerates the structural aging, and thus, reducing the safety while driving.
In one study, researchers from the Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA) U.S. states that nitrogen is more beneficial for tires.
Following the tests conducted by the NHTSA revealed that tires filled with nitrogen have maneuverability, durability and endurance much higher.
The Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic and Safety did a test for 90 days have shown that tires with nitrogen had a two-thirds lower pressure than the tires "treated" with air.
Besides a high pressure, the researchers said that nitrogen helps reduce fuel consumption:"The study shows that all tires inflated with nitrogen has a greater resistance by 25% and fuel consumption is reduced by 5%."
Tires inflated with nitrogen inflation valve caps are green. This color means that the tires are inflated with nitrogen, and if it comes to tires, wheels service to other than that where they mounted the tires, to know what are inflated (air or nitrogen).
The nitrogen is used to pump up the airplane tyres, tyres of the vehicles which carry flammable materials and the tyres of Formula 1 cars.
Aligning the aluminum, alloy or tin rims
One of the problems caused by poor road conditions, the deterioration of many rims. To assist our customers, Ralsi company offers services that include aligning, repairing and welding of rims, both from tin and from alloy. With the advantage of professional tools and qualified personnel, our customers can save a lot by repairing damaged rims.
Mounting and balancing the wheels
The assembly and balancing services that are offered by our company are marked by professionalism and promptitude. When buying tyres from Ralsi, the mounting and balancing services are free of charge. Balancing the tyres is recommended for every 15,000 km, because the improper condition affects the direction of the car and thus, the life of the tyres.
